Drinks and Food - BRING PASSPORTS if you are from overseas and plan on drinking. Seattle cards hard!

  1. The Comet Tavern - Classic Seattle dive bar. Stiff drinks. No B.S.

  2. Time Warp - 25 cent Miss Pac-Man plus booze and noodles? Sign me 1-Up

  3. Cafe Vita - Capitol Hill’s favorite coffee shop, IMO.

  4. Fogon Mexican Restaurant - Most authentic Tex-Mex food in Seattle and a Capitol Hill staple. Their sister bar, Josie’s, is a happening tequila bar.

  5. Lost Lake Cafe and Lounge - Open late and open early for breakfast.

  6. Via Tribunali - Try Luca Brecel’s favorite Italian restaurant. He loves the bolognese and rigatoni. Via also has a nice selection of Tuscan wines if you like them.

Hoh Rainforest, Olympic Penn.

The Hoh Rain Forest is located in the stretch of the Pacific Northwest rainforest which once spanned the Pacific coast from southeastern Alaska to the central coast of California. The Hoh is one of the finest remaining examples of temperate rainforest in the United States and is one of the park's most popular destinations.

The Hoh lies on the west side of Olympic National Park, about a two-hour drive from Port Angeles and under an hour from Forks. The Hoh Rain Forest is accessed by the Upper Hoh Road, off of Highway 101 (directions).

San Juan Islands

There are 172 named islands and reefs in San Juan County. Three ferry-served Islands, San Juan Island (with the county seat, Friday Harbor), Orcas Island, and Lopez Island, are the most populous and host the vast majority of lodging and dining options and tourism activities. Shaw Island is also accessible by ferry but has limited camping and visitor amenities.
